Congratulations to our Matt for passing his Class 1! Another member of the team who’s able to cover material requirements when needed

October 2022

We have passed our three year BSI Assessment with flying colours. We continue to manufacture quality Readymix concrete and floor screed.

July 2022

We welcomed a new Mercedes Tipper cab to the fleet, we have two artic tippers rolling the roads bringing in materials to manufacture our products. We also work with third party hauliers who assist us day to day with materials depending on how busy we are.

August 2021

We are now a fleet of 4 Minimix lorries, our specialism is Minimix loads so with a bigger number of small lorries we can now take on more smaller orders. Alongside our Minimix fleet we have the larger lorries (x3 7.5m3 and x1 6m3) to cater for our larger projects. Plus we have the ability to hire in additional lorries when required to ‘get the job done’.

4th May 2020

Covid 19 Update - we are open at the moment but only with a skeleton crew. When on-site we adhere to the governments guidelines in respect of keeping a 2m distance with everyone we meet. We want to keep our drivers, customers and suppliers safe whilst we try and get through this testing time. Keep safe everyone.

More good news for Melksham Mini Mix - as at today we can officially use our BSI Kitemark accreditation for Ready-Mixed Concrete BS EN 206 and BS 8500.  It is one of the most recognized symbols of quality and safety and it will offer true value to us as a business.  A lot of hard work by the team to get to this point so we are extremely happy. Onwards and upwards growing our business.

7th September 2019 - 6m3 lorry now available

Our new edition to the fleet, a 6m3 lorry now available.  Our 6m3 lorry is ideal for those loads for just over 4m3, we get a lot of orders for between 4.1m3 and 5.5m3 so this is a welcome edition to the fleet.  With its dimensions slightly bigger than the Minimix lorries, this is also good for the smaller jobs that doesn’t require a larger lorry.So if you need a little bit more than 4m3 get in touch for a free, no obligation quote - at the end of the day our service is what we pride ourselves on; ordering process simple and easy, turning up on time, outstanding quality products and a service with a smile.

22nd August 2019 - collections now available

With our batching plant now open we can offer a new service of collections.  Book your time you wish to come in, pay for it, off you trot to the yard, get it loaded and off you go!  Couldn't be any simpler, we might even offer you a cup of tea and biscuit whilst you wait!

2nd August 2019 - Milestone achieved!

July 2019 was a massive milestone in Melksham Mini Mix's short history! It's our best ever month since we began - we doubled what we did in July 2018.  Just shows what hard work can achieve; growing our customer base day by day, ensuring we deliver when we say we're going to deliver, excellent quality mixes at outstanding strengths, service with a smile and a great team working together.  A massive credit goes to Paul having the aspirations and ambition to take Melksham Mini Mix to the next level.

16th March 2019 - Exciting news from Melksham Mini Mix!

We are very pleased to announce that we have been granted planning permission to open a new concrete batching plant based in Melksham.  Since Melksham Mini Mix started its journey 18 months ago, we feel this is a positive next step in further enhancing our brand and values.  Once the plant is up and running, alongside our delivery service, we will also be able to offer collects, giving our customers more flexibility.  The team have started work on the site this week, clearing the area and preparing the bays.  Check out our Facebook page for photos (@melkshamminimix).  We will keep you updated on progress!
